Scientific Computing APIs for 2-Photon Data

At the Van Hooser Lab at Brandeis University, I worked on scientific computing infrastructure for large 2-photon microscopy datasets.

Highlights

  • Designed APIs for processing 100GB+ datasets in a more scalable and maintainable way.
  • Improved ROI extraction performance by about 90 percent.
  • Helped reduce end-to-end latency in downstream analysis workflows.
  • Contributed data schemas to the Neural Data Interface ecosystem.

This project reflects my interest in high-performance research software and building tools that make large scientific datasets easier to analyze.
